The millennial finger

Advertisements

I dream that I am

Given in life what

My ancestors were denied.

A lasting family of loving relatives.

At each turn, there were

Those close to us,

Who attempted to sabotage

And reap.

Yet, the good ones have

Made lasting impact,

Which bear out barely

In the rest of us.

I dream that I walk,

On the hallowed carpets

Of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

My shine is no less, I wish.

I dream that I stand up,

For an entire generation,

Of inebriated millennial friends.

It is our time to shine, I deem.

It is an honest dream.

I know you have one too.

If you are a youth, like me,

Then rebel for it.

The age of grown up men,

Is over. The age of grown up

Women, is over too.

Brothers, beautiful Sisters, it’s go time

By Arjun Kramadhati

This is me. As Charles Bukowski would put it - born like this, born into this. I don't like to talk about myself. I am afraid this is all you are getting now. I like to express myself through my poems, and stories and very soon another novel. I love you, my darling reader. So read on.
