You know

Listen man,

The fact that they did bad to you

Is still not enough reason

For you to not do good to them.

That’s the trouble with goodness,

You know.

There’s no reward.

The trouble with truth and all things truly noble

You are incentivized at almost every turn

To lie and compromise and cheat

Because they are doing it too, you know.

So why not I?

But you know,

That’s no reason to not stick to the truth

To not do the right thing

To not compromise in true spirit

To not be genuine in saying thank you

To not be sincere in saying sorry

To not be patient in times of uncertainty

Nothing’s ever a reason to not do it

There’s never been any

But man listen

You gotta do it

For no reason

You gotta do it

Always

Everytime

And always

Show right to wrong

Show with truth and gently

Show how it’s ought to be lived here

Because you know,

Somebody’s gotta do it

Everybody

Why not you

This is me. As Charles Bukowski would put it - born like this, born into this. I don't like to talk about myself. I am afraid this is all you are getting now. I like to express myself through my poems, and stories and very soon another novel. I love you, my darling reader. So read on.
