Covid-19

I held his hand all the way

From my house to the park

Every single day.

It is a thing I miss, everyday.

He bought me ice candy,

Before entering the park,

It was the popcorn,

Before the movie.

My Grandfather had always,

A story for me.

Kind of stories which made,

the ice candy sweeter.

How do you return,

Love of such depth?

Is your heart capable,

To live only for others?

My hero, my Grandfather.

Nothing shook him.

He tore through life

Like a Lion.

Is this a joke you played?

Dear, life?

That the strongest beast,

Falls, finally, for this misfortune?
